Apricot Almond Blend

The health boost – apricots are a good source of both vitamin A (from beta-carotene) and vitamin C. Apricots are rich in other antioxidants, too, including flavonoids.


Diets rich in flavonoids and the other types of polyphenols found in apricots have been linked to reductions in heart disease in humans, as well as other potential health benefits.

Sweet tart apricots are paired with protein-rich almonds and sweetened with a touch of honey.


Ingredients:

3 ripe apricots chopped

1/2 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons almond butter

2 tablespoon honey

1/2 cup ice.


Procedure:

Put all of the ingredients in a blender and whirl until smooth


Make It Protein-Packed. Add 1 scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder. It adds body to the smoothie.
